This first day was an excellent appetizer for the rest of the trip! I think we're a great bunch of enthusiasts. What other crazy things are we going to experience, then? 😏

Insane chapter 2: first-ever ride on an S&S 4D Coaster. And OMG, it's unbelievably powerful! An intense and completely unexpected experience.

As a good old-school Mega Coaster, I'm quoting Superman. From a completely different era, you can feel the technology of the 2000s, quite different from that used in recent times. It's noisy, it's not totally regular, but it's pleasantly long! Superman isn't necessarily bad, but it doesn't go to my heart. But it's a must-see in this park.

My number 3 of the day: Thunderbolt, the wooden PTC from 1941. In 2024, the attraction looks as if it hasn't aged a day, and offers a more comfortable ride than you'd expect, with some nice little airtimes. For it to hold up so well, maintenance must be very good. It's even more fun to ride than our recent T2Z…

My number 2 of the day: Pandemonium, my very first Spinning Gerstlauer, which is surprisingly fun and comfortable. Compact, but punchy!

To open the festivities of this mega trip, it was a pleasant discovery of the very first American Six Flags. With a rather low attendance, it was satisfying to be able to discover 10 out of 11 roller coasters; the SLC Riddler's Revenge being down all day. Operations weren't optimal, but they didn't get in the way of what we wanted to do.
My No. 1 of the day: Wicked Cyclone, which is really big! The same "size" as Walibi Holland's Untamed, it seems obvious that the "small" RMCs are actually the best to do! 😍 What monumental ejectors!
